Welcome to the WHS Media Center
The mission of our school Media Center is to provide an inviting learning environment to support a love of reading, while promoting effective use of technology to foster independent learning. The High School Media Center provides adequate resources and an inviting space for students to prepare for college, career, and life.
The Wicksburg High School Media Center houses a lab area with 13 desktops and then spaces for studying. We also have 10 laptops that are available for use inside of the library. We have color printing available to students.

The Library of Congress is the largest library in the world. It serves as the primary research source for Congress. It offers a digital collection, online print and photograph collection and research center.
The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources is available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.
